New Balance introduced the ‘Protection Pack’ (Refined Future) in August 2021, starting with the release of the ‘Rain Cloud’ 2002R iteration. Following the initial drop’s favorable reception, the pack has expanded over the years, introducing new colorways to the collection. Now, a fresh addition to the ‘Protection Pack’ is on the horizon, boasting the use of durable ripstop material.

New Balance is gearing up for the release of the highly anticipated New Balance 2002R models, which will be available in a variety of colorways including Dark Moss, Eclipse, High Desert, and Sandstone. These sneakers are thoughtfully crafted using a combination of premium suede and ripstop nylon materials. Each pair in this collection is equipped with a convenient bungee lacing system for easy wear. To ensure optimal comfort, the shoes feature an ABZORB midsole, known for its excellent cushioning, as well as an N-ergy outsole, which provides superior responsiveness and support.

Debuting in 1988 as part of the esteemed 990 family, the New Balance 996 made an impactful entry into the market. It was considered a pinnacle of technological advancement, taking an extensive six-year development process. However, over time, the model has become widely recognized for its appeal as a lifestyle sneaker.

As a part of the Teddy Santis Made in USA collection, the 996 ‘Pink Haze’ is set to release, catering to the warmer months. These sneakers boast a premium appearance, thanks to their construction featuring pigskin suede, mesh, and leather materials. The majority of the upper is adorned in Pink, while Grey accents the ‘N’ logos on the panels and heel overlay. Additional details include a woven tongue label, Cream on the heel counter, a White midsole, and a Black outsole.

UK retailer Size? will once again connect with New Balance to release a new collaboration. The end result is this 990v3 Made in USA, which will be the first time the shop collaborates on this model.

The collaboration between New Balance and Size? brings us a captivating rendition of the New Balance 990v3 that blends Tan, Brown, and Cream hues. The shoe features a mesh upper, providing breathability, while the pigskin suede material adds a touch of luxury to the tongues, collars, and liner. Additional suede accents adorn the panels, mudguard, and heel, with a Cream hue on the ‘N’ logo, toe overlay, and ankle. Adding a vibrant pop of color, Orange accents can be found on the tongue branding, top eyelet, and subtly hinted on the midsole. The shoe is further complemented by a White ENCAP midsole and a Brown rubber outsole.

Currently, a release date for the Size? x New Balance 990v3 Made in USA has yet to be announced. However, a release is expected to take place later this year in-store and online at Size?. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.

The New Balance 990 was first introduced to the market in 1982 and was known as one of the top running shoes at the time. As time goes on, the shoes have taken on a lifestyle approach. Furthermore, the brand is currently on their 6th version of the shoe, known as the 990v6. This model has now been added to Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection and this pair comes dressed in a Cream and White color scheme.

As described by the brand, the New Balance 990v6 embraces this original mandate, with a series of performance-inspired updates. Utilizing a mixture of leather, mesh, and pigskin suede for a premium build. Highlighting the shoes is a Cream hue on the base with White areas, and Tan on the overlays around the toe and heel. The ’N’ logo on the panels features Silver reflective, and 990 adorns the lateral side by the heel. Other details include a FuelCell cushioned midsole and a rubber outsole.

Building upon Teddy Santis’ Season 3 Made in USA collection, we have another addition of the 990v4 silhouette. After showcasing the ‘White Green’ pair, we now have a look at the upcoming ‘Cream’ iteration.

Teddy Santis is known for being the founder of NYC apparel and lifestyle brand Aimé Leon Dore. However, he was also named the Creative Director for New Balance MADE in USA, which has helped the line significantly.

Looking closer, this New Balance 990v4 comes with Cream across the upper with mesh on the base and leather overlays. Next, Grey lands on the ’N’ logos, Made in USA tongue labels and heels, with ’990’ logo on the lateral heel. Tan suede appears on the overlays and we have a two-tone ENCAP midsole, EVA cushioning, and an NDurance Grey rubber outsole.

UK skate brand Palace is back with New Balance to connect for another collaboration. Following their collaboration on the New Balance 580 that dropped last year, this time around, they will launch two colorways of the Made in UK 991 with a hiking makeover.

One pair comes dressed in Teal, Tan, Purple, and Black, while the second colorway features Purple, Grey, Black, and Pink color makeup. The two New Balance 991 options by Palace feature a ripstop base, suede on the mudguards and heel counters, leather on the trim, and textile on the medial side. Next, we have the signature ’N’ on the sides, and Palace branding on the tongues, heels, and insoles, while we have ‘P991’ lace dubraes. Finishing the two is a two-tone rubber outsole.

Launching alongside the sneakers, an apparel collection will also debut. Some of the pieces include windbreakers, sweatshirts, shorts, t-shirts, and hats.

You can expect the Palace x New Balance 991 color options to first release via Palace Skateboards and chapter stores in the US, Japan, and the UK on May 12th.
