Reebok has revealed ‘Chapter 2’ of “Pump Universe”, a revisionist footwear collection released earlier this year that fuses the brand’s most iconic products from the ’80s and ’90s. ‘Chapter 2’ focuses on “Classics”, reimagining two historic models: Classic Leather and Club C 85.

With the introduction of “Pump Universe” this past February, Reebok sought to re-envision the stories behind its most legendary sneakers, blending their iconic design elements and positioning its historic custom-fit Pump technology at the forefront. ‘Chapter 1’ saw compelling reinterpretations of Allen Iverson’s Question Mid and the crossing over of Shaq’s signature Shaq Attaq to the tennis pitch.

In “Pump Universe” ”Chapter 2′, Reebok shifts the spotlight to two enduring classics models, each of which was a champion of sport and fitness during the ’80s-’90s and has since become an everyday wardrobe staple.

The Reebok Classic Leather asks the question, what if Reebok’s Classic Leather first dropped in the ’90s? This reinterpretation of the brand’s signature ’80s running shoe draws inspiration from Instapump Fury and other classic Reebok runners with an integrated tongue Pump ball and bladder, while carrying forward OG Classic Leather design elements like an all-leather upper, Reebok wordmark window box, cross check branding, and a rubber outsole.

What if Michael Chang’s Court Victory was instead a Club C? Here, the brand’s classic low-profile tennis shoe is imagined as a signature Pump model, drawing inspiration, color, and design from the iconic Court Victory, while carrying forward OG Club C design elements like a leather upper, Reebok wordmark window box, embroidered heel logo, and a rubber midsole and outsole.

You can expect the Reebok Pump Universe Chapter 2, including the Classic Leather and Club C 85 to release at select retailers and Reebokc.com on May 17th. The retail price is $110. Below, you can check out more photos for a closer look.

Reebok has slowly released collaborations on the Question Mid. Recently, we saw BSTN and Annuel AA drop their own pairs, and now Sneakernstuff, aka SNS, will debut their own version. Dubbed ‘AI’, the nickname plays off the newfound ‘AI’ wave (artificial intelligence), but the true inspiration is none other than Allen Iverson.

This Reebok Question Mid by SNS comes dressed in a Brown, White, and Gum color combination. Utilizing a premium build consisting of luxe leather throughout and mesh tongues. Brown covers the base with tonal branding. Next, SNS branding appears on the heels and insoles with Iverson’s number ‘3’ on the bottom heels. Other details include Off-White on the midsole, Hexalite cushioning with hexagonal-shaped air pockets, and a Gum rubber outsole.

Reebok brought back The Blast in March, a basketball shoe that was released in the mid-90s and was part of the Mobius footwear collection, which offered a wide range of performance athletic shoes. In 2023, we will see more colorways of the model release, including this ‘Lakers’ rendition.

This Reebok The Blast comes dressed in a Footwear White, Always Yellow, and Bold Purple color combination. Utilizing an OG build, the shoes come with mesh and leather on the upper, and integrated midsole-outsole, and Hexalite cushioning. Most of the upper comes dressed in White with Yellow and Purple on the panels, branding, and tongue and heel logos. This pair also pays tribute to Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Van Exel, who wore The Blast in the 1990s.

Back in 1992, when Shaquille O’Neal was playing for the Orlando Magic, he wore his signature shoe, the Reebok Shaq Attaq. Throughout his career, he not only wore and released various signature shoes, but he also played for multiple teams. One of those teams is the Miami Heat, who he got a ring with in 2006.

This Reebok Shaq Attaq is a tribute to the Miami Heat and comes dressed in the Heat’s alternate Floridians jerseys that were worn during their 2006 championship run. Highlighted with White leather on the upper and Black textured overlays. Next, we have Pink and Orange accents on the tongue, eyestays, exposed stitching, and outsole.

Reebok will take a page out of the vintage book, which Nike and Jordan Brand have been doing lately. This time around, they will release Allen Iverson’s first signature shoe with a twist, known as the Reebok Question Mid ‘Vintage Red Toe’.

This Reebok Question Mid comes in the same color blocking as the OG ‘Red Toe’ that Allen Iverson wore during his 1996 rookie season, but will have an aged makeover. Utilizing Chalk White leather on the upper with a faded Red suede on the toe box. Next, we have exposed foam on the tongue, the usual Question branding throughout, and an aged Yellow semi-translucent outsole.

Great news for Allen Iverson fans, the Reebok Question Low ‘Oatmeal’ will make a return during 2020 and was originally released in 1999.

This Reebok Question Low features White tumbled leather across the upper while Oatmeal suede covers the toe, embroidered branding on the panels and tongue as well as the eyelets and heel. Other details include a White midsole and icy Blue translucent rubber outsole.

Following our look at the Question Mid, Puerto Rican rapper Annuel AA will also debut his very own Classic Leather. Known as the Annuel AA x Reebok Classic Leather ‘1983 Vintage’, and is a mash-up of OG retro and new-school design, with the inspiration being the Caribbean sky.

This Reebok Classic Leather comes dressed in a Footwear White, Digital Blue, and Core Black color combination. Utilizing White Cloud across the leather upper, which is inspired by the sky above the island streets, Silver on the Stripes, Black overlays, and Sky Blue on the tongue branding. Other details include his logo on the heel and his name on the insoles, and the Puerto Rican flag next to the Reebok branding on the panels.
