Going back to 2003, Nike Sportswear launched the Air Max 1 ‘Chili’ that, nowadays, is considered a classic. 20 years later and the brand will release a similar colorway to the Air Max 1.

Looking closer, this Nike Air Max 1 comes dressed in a White, University Red, Pure Platinum, and Black color combination. Constructed with the usual mesh, suede, and nubuck throughout. Although the pairs are close, the difference here compared to the ‘Chili’ pair is a lighter shade of Grey is used on the overlays, and the colors used on the tongue labels are reversed. Next, Red fills in the Swoosh logos and Air unit, Black embroidered Nike Air appears on the heels, while a White and Black rubber sole finishes the look.
