Nike Air Max 97 Releasing in Multi-Color Corduroy

Nike Air Max 97 Corduroy FB8454-300

Ever since the inception of the Nike Air Max 97 back in 1997 and created by Christian Tresser, we have seen unique color options. The overall look is inspired by Japanese bullet trains, which resulted in the ‘Silver Bullet’ moniker. As of late, the model has received tasteful makeover, by way of materials and colors. Dropping for 2023, we have the ‘Multi Corduroy’ iteration that will be available exclusively in women’s sizing.

As mentioned, the highlight of this Air Max 97 is the use of corduroy, which not only adds texture but also introduces a range of captivating colors and patterns. Departing from the traditional Swoosh branding on the side panels, the shoe showcases a cursive ‘Air’ logo instead. Maroon leather overlays adorn the tongues, while a Tan leather stripe wraps around the shoe. Dark Teal nubuck embellishes the mudguard, accompanied by Pink exposed stitching for a touch of contrast. Additional details include a Sail midsole, a full-length Air Max unit, and a Black rubber outsole.

Below, you can check out more photos of the Nike Air Max 97 ‘Corduroy’ for a closer look. A release will take place later this year at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is $185. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
