Thanks to the creative vision of Tinker Hatfield, the iconic elephant print made its debut on the Air Jordan 3, leaving a lasting impact. Since then, this distinctive design element has expanded to other models while maintaining a strong connection to the AJ 3. Among the familiar silhouettes is the Air Jordan 1 Low. Set to release in 2023, the ‘Black Elephant’ iteration pays homage to this iconic pattern, bringing a touch of nostalgia.

The Air Jordan 1 Low showcased here features a clean and minimalistic color combination of Black and White. The shoe is constructed with premium leather throughout its upper, accompanied nylon tongues. The base is adorned in sleek Black, while textured elephant print adorns the Swoosh logos and heels, giving them a unique look. The tongue has a Black tonal Jumpman logo with the Nike Air on the sole, while the Wings logo on the heels is elegantly embroidered in White. Additional details include a White midsole and a Black rubber outsole, completing the overall design.

You can expect the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Black Elephant’ to release at select retailers and Nike.com later this year. The retail price is $110. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you. For now, check out additional photos below for a closer look.
