Nike’s EYBL, also known as the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, is a circuit of teams with players aged 17 and under. Each year, special Nike Basketball sneakers are created for the event and, in some cases, released to the public. For 2023, Ja Morant’s first signature shoe, the Ja 1, will be part of the lineup and feature a mismatched color scheme.
This Nike Ja 1 comes dressed in a Melon Tint, Rush Fuchsia, Black, and Jade Ice color combination. Utilizing Yellow on the left shoe and Light Purple on the right. Constructed with mesh and a reinforced mid-foot, while the Swoosh logos land on the panels and expand onto the heels. Next, ‘EYBL’ branding lands on the tongues and insoles, while ‘Ja’ and his number ’12’ is placed on the heels. Other details include a speckled mismatched midsole and a translucent outsole.
