The story of the FlyEase technology is deeper than sneakers, which is kind of crazy to say since they are used exclusively on shoes. While most know that the tech was used for the first time on a sneaker back in 2015 (the LeBron Solider 8), they were designed for Matthew Walzer, a 16-year-old with cerebral palsy. Before the shoes hit the market or were shown to the public, their first employee, Jeff Johnson, suffered from a stroke. This is when the CEO at that time, Mark Parker, and designer Tobie Hatfield came up with the FlyEase shoe that was easy for Johnson to put on.
We have since seen the technology land on different models, but for the first time, the Air Force 1 will have easy-entry access, thanks to FlyEase. This Nike Air Force 1 Low comes dressed in all-White, with Black on the tongue branding and insoles. Finishing the look is White on the midsole and rubber outsole.
